THE ROWE DIFFERENCE
At Rowe, we proudly stand behind the quality of our products. Handcrafted in the USA, each piece is constructed from the best materials and guaranteed to be free from manufacturer defects for its lifetime.
Our heavy gauge steel spring system provides the base for a wonderfully comfortable and long-lasting seat. Springs are placed 4”-5” apart for uniform comfort and doubled up on each end to withstand the wear and tear that comes from everyday use.
Constructed of furniture grade laminates and solid kiln-dried hardwoods, our frames are built to last. We use mortise and tenon, double dowel and corner block construction to provide solid long lasting joints. We back all our frames with a limited lifetime warranty.
Each of our four cushion types is designed to provide the perfect balance of support and comfort for both seat and back. Our cushion cores are made with eco-friendly, high-resiliency foam and are wrapped with a polyester fiber wrap for surface softness and shape. Add a channel quilted down-blend jacket for our Feather Soft Down cushions.
For a firmer sit, try the Extra Firm (XF) cushion. The cushion is made with a
2.5 density high-resiliency polyurethane foam core that provides additional
support. The foam core is wrapped in polyester and is bagged on some styles.
Our standard 300cc cushions are made with a high-resiliency polyurethane
foam core wrapped with a layer of soft polyester fiber. High-resiliency (HR)
foam is important because it delivers the right amount of support, sink-in
comfort and bounce-back. The polyester wrap provides surface softness and
shape. Sometimes the cushions are bagged to create a cushion with less crown.
The M850 is the standard cushion. The foam core has three
layers; the innermost layer is firm, surrounded by two layers of softer foam. It
is engineered for a softer sit than the 300cc cushion and is also available as an
upgrade on some styles.
For rich and luxurious sink-in comfort, we recommend our Feather Soft
cushion package. This is a comfortable feather, down blend seat cushion. In
the middle of the cushion is a high-resiliency foam core. Some styles are
also wrapped with a softer foam. The foam core is then inserted into
a channel-quilted down proof casing filled with a blend of down, feathers and polyester fiber.
Our down and feather products are widely recognized for their ‘Ultraclean Process’
which requires 8 washings and leaves the down and feathers hypo-allergenic.
A Note About Cushion Life:
Cushions will soften with use, depending on how much and how you use the piece of furniture.
With proper care and under normal use, they can deliver years of dependable service. Regular
vacuuming, fluffing and rotating will extend cushion life and keep them looking fresher.
Our Frames—We use kiln-dried hardwood solid and laminate boards that are precision-milled to make a solid frame, one that won’t twist, warp or crack. Joints are held solid with mortise and tenon or double-dowel and corner block construction. These construction techniques give us confidence in offering a lifetime warranty on our frames.
With the launch of the EcoRowe initiative, our company has made a solid commitment to eco-friendly manufacturing processes and sustainable product development. EcoRowe focuses on three crucial elements in our future a selection of fabrics produced from natural, renewable fibers and dyed at GOTS certified facilities; the use of wood from replenished, domestic forests for the frames and the choice of two eco-friendly seat cushion cores.
Our eco-cushion core contains plant-based, renewable materials which replace significant amounts of petroleum-based materials used in standard foam cushions. Our eco-down blend cushion core is a modern combination of high-resiliency foam with recycled fiber and a blend of duck feather and down. The cotton ticking used to encase the feather and down is no longer bleached.
Each piece of Rowe and Robin Bruce furniture will include eco-wood and eco-cushion cores. With your choice of fabrics, you can create a complete eco-friendly piece of furniture.
